Mickael Pietrus going to the Orlando Magic doesn’t exactly set the East on fire. It does add more depth and a quality player to an already quality team with a lot of young talent. The Magic were not an easy team to beat in 2007, they will be even harder to beat in 2008.
Definitely a good signing by the Magic.
James Jones (above) is a fantastic middle-aged 3 point shooter who will be a nice bench contribution to the Heat.
He doesn’t look like much, but the guy has a knock down jump shot.
The Heat WILL NOT BE HORRIBLE in 2008. I don’t care what anyone says. I really do think Miami could be a playoff team in 2008 (if everyone important stays healthy…looking at you DWade and Beasley). I don’t think they win less than 35 games anyway…

That’s just what comes up when you google image search James Jones…as a result, I refuse to believe that James Jones on the Heat looks like anything other than a middle aged white guy with a gross goatee.
